  • Addressing Constituent Needs

We have: Listened to our local veterans, and removed state tax on military pensions. Secured grant funding for local community services. Installed crosswalk signs on East Main Rd.

I will: Continue to listen to the needs of our community and bring those stories to the State House.

We have: Codified Roe into State Law, Required all insurance to cover reproductive care, shielded healthcare workers who provide abortion and gender affirming care.

I will: Always stand up for the rights of Rhode Islanders to manage their pregnancies in the way that is best for them, and to fight for access to high quality reproductive healthcare for all.

Working with us at home

"Michelle is always showing up for our community when we need a hand, whether it's helping out at the community center, or neighborhood clean-ups. She's a good leader, a team player, and a hard worker. She sees our issues and listens to us, which makes her a strong representative for our district.”

Advocating for us at the State House

"As a farmer, it's especially important to me that we have an environmental champion like Michelle representing us. Zooming out from specific issues though, the thing that makes Michelle such an incredible representative is how willing she is to hear from her constituents, and how much work she does to understand the issues that matter to us. She does a deep dive on the issues that matter to the people of Portsmouth, Tiverton and Little Compton. I don't know where she gets the time and energy, but she is an incredibly prepared legislator."
